For Phoenix criminal defense clients · Evidence and strategy

How our team requests and reviews evidence before a pretrial strategy meeting.

Video transcript

Hi, I’m Dante Wright. After you hire Phoenix, our office notifies the court that we represent you and, if the Commonwealth’s Attorney is involved, notifies that office too. We then request the evidence through the applicable discovery process. Our team will update you when we request the evidence and when we receive it. Your attorney reviews the material before we schedule a pretrial strategy meeting with you, either in person or by video. We will go through the evidence together, discuss what it may mean, and decide what further questions to investigate before court. If you have documents, messages, witness information, or a new court notice, please send them to us promptly. We will tell you what is needed in your particular case.

Questions about your case or court date?

An inquiry does not create an attorney-client relationship; representation requires our agreement. Please wait for instructions before sending confidential or time-sensitive material.
